i’ve learnt a lot today.
a certain friend, whom i’ve not spoken to in a while,
he said that we shouldn’t just pray to God to ask him for things,
and instead, pray to him, and spend time talking to him..

and the analogy, was so great, i tell you,
i was awed.
“if you’re talking to your biological father, you won’t just talk to him because you want help with something”
right?
right.

so i suppose, yes
we do give our problems, complain to God..
and i guess, we assume, that if we are happy with life,
we don’t thank Him..
we assume that He knows we are happy..
we assume He knows everything that goes on in our life.

well, He KNOWS.
even if we are sad, he knows too.
but why do we only pray when we need help, or when we are sad?

i guess its the fact,
we need assurance,
that He will not stand by and watch us.
He will give us the strength to overcome what we have to.

i have been praying very often these few days.
in my lowest points of life,
and also to thank Him..

i guess, or rather, i know.
we shouldn’t just pray to ask for stuff,
but also, to look more into detail,
to spend time with God..

to that friend,

its funny how God brings people into our lives.
