You KNOW I’m Hot.

the circle.

everyone has their own circle.
actually, everyone has many circles around them.
it’s kinda like rings round the tree.
the older the tree, the more rings there are.

i guess it applies to humans too.
when you were young, like the trees, you probably only had two circles. the smaller circle was for who your friends were, the outer circle was for those whom you didn’t want to be friends with.

as we grow older, more radial circles form.
best friends, close friends, classmates, acquaintances, family, enemies, clubbing buddies, friends whom you can call at 5am, people you can make use of, and this list goes on.

it’s inevitable, isn’t it?

it all boils down to the circle.
sure, you’re in my circle, it just depends which one you’re in.

while some people have on qualms about inviting people into their inner circles,
“hello, come on in i’m sure we can make space for you”

there are others who would react this way
“i’m sorry, i’m contented with my circle being this large. i don’t need you to be in it.”

don’t place all your eggs in one basket.
simply put it, that’s why women have two ovaries (quite literally), and men have two testicles.
you simply cannot be trusted to be able to reproduce with just one.

maybe the world would not be so complicated if we only had two circles. one for those you liked and one for those you don’t.
or in today’s context; one for those you would give a shit about if they were to die, and one for those you don’t.

and there’s this fear.
“he’s in my inner circle. but i don’t think i’m in his”

“then throw him out, he isn’t worth it.”

“but..”

“no buts, you can never have everyone in one circle”
