so cass ate a rainbow cupcake, and i told her we could make it there and then. really an impulse decision, it was 8pm and stuff. had most of the things at home but we drove out to get some stuff..

went to make a new set of retainers.. hello bad mood me..
went to meet dad for lunch.. (=

my dad really spoils me.. could have gone to the hawker center ($2 chicken rice) but noooo… we went to some restaurant high up..

place: atlantic at republic plaza
price: about $60+ per person, but $40+ for set lunch..

we each got the set lunch.. cos the menu is honestly quite limited.. i ate the bread they provided and was full.. was thinking that my parents will kill me so i stuffed my face with the food )=

mum and her tuna belly as a starter..

dad and his corn chowder as a starter.. i got the same thing as him..

for mains there were 3 choices..

cod fish.. which my dad and i had..

lamb shoulder which mum had..

third one was carbonara.. but i didn’t feel like eating pasta..

for desserts there were 2 choices..

mango sago with passion fruit ice cream.. i had this..yucks. too sweet. i’m not a fan of desserts anyway..

mum and dad both had brownie with vanilla ice cream.. looked ~pretty normal, so i didn’t bother..

service was not bad i guess, because there was this buffet with lotsa pork and i didn’t wanna have the buffet (obviously) and i told them i CANT eat pork.. and they were like oh oh you need a seperate table for yourself? blablabla… aye.

i ordered a plate of beef.. but ate the side dishes and was bursting alr.. whoops..

bangkok baby!

was a last min decision to head to bangkok w my sis and her friends.. didn’t really wanna “tag” along but i wanted to get away from everything.. and just.. walk around in an unfamiliar place..

went there from the 9-13, stayed an extra day while the rest flew off.

what luck i had 3 seats to myself.. slept in so many positions haha

hotel was cosy.. the bed took up most of the space, but it was all good..

even came with a mini bar.. (not in pic)

was about 4ish 5 when we left our hotel.. took a tuktuk to platinum mall.. some wholesale place..
just the 4 of us cos my sis was attending a silly concert in sg.

didn’t buy many things, sadly! the quality isn’t that good, price isn’t that cheap either. of course, coming from melbourne, everything is cheap, but given the standard of living over there i’m pretty sure they killed our wallets..

went for a massage at night..
opted for just the head, shoulders, hands and leg one.. cannot let them touch my whole body! i’ll probably sprain every part :/

the lady kept putting her finger to her lips.. yea cos i kept laughing and squirming.. it’s pretty clear which places can’t be touched..
thighs, neck, lower back… yeapp.

she used this wooden stick to press my fingertips and at first.. uhh very active imagination.. i thought she was taking a knife to slice my fingers so i sat up in shock and looked at my hand. :/

sis joined us the next day.. went to explore the top floor..

we fell asleep in the cab back to our hotel :/ guess we woke up early.. went for yet another massage.. i only did it cos i didn’t wanna stone in the lobby for an hour.. and the lobby is freezing.. the lady told me to stop laughing again.. grr…

went to terminal 21.. think it’s a new mall! love the concept..

every floor is a diff city..

deco, lighting, everything was really good. bright coloured lights.. quite pretty. my only gripe was that the escalators are majorly long/high.. i’ve a fear of heights, and i don’t really dare to take an escalator from a higher level to a lower level.. have some problems (physical coordination) with that..

headed to patpong.. not really my type of place i guess.. sleazy bars, hamsup farangs… every angmoh over there.. we all know why they’re there.. urg.

there was the mdm tussauds museum, which i wanted to go, but my sis said there’d be lotsa thai stars there which i won’t even know, so it wouldn’t be worth my money.. and she has already been to the one in hk.. decided not to go because i don’t wanna go alone.. wax figurines scare me.. plus who’s gonna take incriminating photos for me? i mean, why else will i go to the wax museum.. hahaha

but with luck they put one dude out for display!

on monday the rest were going to fly back in the evening.. but they wanted to go back to siam so we did.. once again my sis didn’t wanna follow them to walk around.. so i went with her to mbk to buy stuff for our family.. did our nails too (i could have done a better job)

it was a mad rush to our hotel after lunch.. tuktuk guy took us on a joy ride.. asshole…

while they left for the hotel, i took a cab to my cousin’s place..

like for my cuz and i at first we hit off well but then at night when he bashed singapore saying there’s nothing to do.. i was just like -raises hands- okay i can’t say much because i’m contented just hanging out with my friends..

:/ expectations x reality i guess. not that i didn’t enjoy it, i just expected something a whole lot nicer, different.. like.. family..? being able to talk and joke a whole lot.. like how i do with my guy friends..

back on mon, 28 nov! first time i flew home alone, it was quite cool, actually. except my left tigh hurt so much during the flight..

dinner! rocket salad (eew, but i did try a few leaves to pretend that i eat it), bun (which i ate w cheese), crackers (hidden, how sneaky), chicken thigh with roasted potatoes, carrots and peas, and tiramisu for dessert. omg that was heavenly <3

marv and kim came to pick me up. (= whee~ miss seeing them both..

got my sis to buy crab bee hoon from no. 3 crab delicacy for my dinner. owe her a tonne. and it’s also the first time i had one whole crab to myself. must admit, not sharing feels sooooo good..

decided to pick up golf.. so i asked my dad to teach me haahha. the last time i learnt from him i was.. tiny.. and then learnt again for a bit when i was 14..

the only nice shot (meaning: focused) my mom took of me.. and golfing is really quite cheap.. well okay to me it is.. i went to turf city’s range, it costs $5 per 50balls for peak hr (5-10pm)! off peak it’s only $3! no idea why they say it’s ex, probably cos of the clubs and all but i’m using my dad’s clubs.. cos i learnt using my right hand, so it’s all fine.

which is kinda weird haha i drum and play the guitar with my right hand too…

it was a 3 level cell area. pretty small if you ask me. each room is probably 1x3m. you can’t see anyone or anything. hardly any sunlight. i guess it’s the mental torture that makes you never want to go back in there ever again

me being hardworking. i was telling my parents i wanna quit school, get the yearly pass, go there from 9-5 daily and be a gold miner. haha.

went to the GOR a 2nd time, this time w my parents. the 3rd place to go during the road trip. we stayed for 2 nights, but in different locations. 1st night was at appollo bay, 2nd night.. in a town before warrnanbool. can’t rem. :/

momsy wanted to go horseback riding and the most epic thing she said was “will there be someone holding the horse?” errrr… :/

we went to blazing saddles, had a slightly difficult time finding the place due to the off beaten track. $45 for 1.25hrs! cheap i gotta say, compared to the one in gold coast! $80 )= plus, we actually learnt how to trot.. though i gotta say IT HURT LIKE A BITCH…
