so yepp. this year is really special.
turning 19..

more special than my 18th because
1) next year there’ll be a 2 on my age, and it freaks me out
2) i’m spending it differently.

no parties, nothing. (=
just quiet (or not), quality time with the people i love.

this week’s gonna be pretty hectic and i’m squeezing in as much time as i can to spend it with the different people.

as i grow up, sometimes i do things i don’t want to do.. but that’s life.
full of obligations and responsibilities.

thankful for God, church, family and friends who’ve kept me sane.

met a nice cab uncle today from school to home.
rushed to bathe.
while walking to the bus stop, i saw the bus stop at the bus stop (hahaha i keep laughing at this. someone in sec 2 in my class wrote this and the teacher was horrified).

decided to take a cab to chase to my bus.
chased, couldn’t find my bus.
got down the cab, waited for my bus that never came.
so i had to take another cab just to be on time for driving.

dinner at seoul garden w panda joyce and sihui. HAHA K LA KIDDING. got kx also. yum yummmmmmmmm. my fav is still the sliced beef.! (=

ate till i nearly exploded. we ate for damn bloody long.
then shopped a bit, i really need to start trading if i want to continue to have debit.

she asked me to go kite flying with her cos it’s romantic.. but i told her no because i thought it’s dumb..

yesterday (wed) was a day of many emotions.

hmm.

school was confusing for me as usual.
i don’t seem to be able to grasp anything now.
probably lost the drive, and have really low morale.
i used to believe that whatever i wanted, as long as i worked hard for it, it’ll all turn out for the best.

but of course, what happened during internship woke me up..
school’s quite demoralising.. and really everyday i thank God for the people who pull me through school..

anyway it was raining, so my mood was just ‘blah’.
took a cab, got my feet soaked.
it was pouring in school but at sunset way it was all dry and sunny. kinda peeved me.

i hate the rain, writing, school and my period with sucha huge vengence. it’s the bane of my existance, really.

went to makan sutra for dinner with marv kim and esther. yumyum. good food, great company. kinda like a dream come true. so much food! the hokkien mee today was a huge disappointment though.

dessert at max brenner. yumyum fondue. the best part? i had a nice car ride. passed the flyer TWICE. how awesome is that. pretty lights + the drive was really peaceful, safe, comfortable.. hmm. (=

oh, one of my neighbours, they’re gna build a 4th storey, a rooftop garden. i’m so envious. )= they could build a mini pool and suntan.. -gah-

school’s only gonna get worse so bye for now i’ll try to keep this place less musty.

back home at 3 and i couldn’t wake up for driving so i cancelled it. to the arts house for the day, hearing people talk about their books.

caught film “the boy in the striped pyjamas” and i’m gna buy the movie for my mom. it’s about the nazi and jews, really tugs at heart strings.

ate at glutton bay with panda (after attending 2 talks at the art house). chai tao kueh, hokkien mee and chicken wings.

sunday was horrid. fell sick and i was rolling in bed and whining. felt better in the evening and had dinner at AYE. came back, felt more sick.

today’s monday and i’ve an mc cos i’m feeling like shit but i’m in class. sigh.
