went to the penguin parade..

it was nothing short of amazing, apart from annoying asians (henceforth known as AA). they kept standing up and blocking the rest of us! FUCK! why? you paid money and we didn’t? you ate glass during puberty? your mom’s made of glass? you’re made of glass? I THINK NOT?! damn AAs!! and when the penguins came out they’d stand up and point and shout “there there”. oi?! everything must tell the world is it? wanna tell me when you last fucked anot? shut up and just admire the world can?! zzz i really hate asians sometimes.. they’re so rude and all, they can’t just sit and watch the world go by..

anyway the penguins were really cute. saw them swimming from the sea, and i decided to stay back longer to just hear the waves crash.. and it was dimly lit.. amazing. (=

because most of the crowd left, it got really peaceful and i took a nice stroll.. the penguins and i were just separated by a fence, so technically we were just cms apart.. (= and then there was one penguin that waddled, AND FELL. HAHAHAHA. what a loser. then it stood up and looked around, before continuing.

those fluffy things, strolling lIKE A BOSS. i think the park rangers are really smart. it’s some ploy. they tell us humans “hey at xx time come see the penguins walk!” and they tell the penguins “hey animals, if you come after xx time, you’ll see these humans staring into the ocean in awe like idiots.. and they’ll start cheering for no reason!”

yea that must be is. and they earn money from us too. horrid. there was this penguin that walked right up to the end of the boardwalk so i followed it haha.

(saturday)
headed off to churchill island. (=

it was a saturday so there was the farmers’ market.

it was really small, maybe 30 stalls? idk.. selling cheese, meat, pies cakes.. stuff like that.

went to the heritage farm too. old colonial houses and a mini farm.

had to pay to enter the factory so we left.. since i don’t like chocolates anw. haha. i think it’s a bit silly though. it’d have made sense to let us see the factory for free, i’d be more willing to buy chocolates after that.. at least that’s what happened at margaret river in perth..

we also went to the koala conservation centre! and just our luck, this koala started climbing down his tree and walked on the wooden rails and everyone crowded round it!

fyi: most probably a female. females apparently have prettier noses, and fluffier ears!

hehe got sooo close to the wild koala! and yea it’s staring at me in awe, duh?

quite a camwhore, it looked into my cam a mil times (= totally made my day! being so close to wildlife..

went to the RLC to have dinner..

we headed to the nobbies, supposedly to see more wildlife…

but it was so damn windy.. if the winds in melb was bad (160km/h), this must have been at least 240km/h! it was so bad i couldn’t breathe cos i was facing the wind direction.. so strong it could blow you off your feet, and i was trippin and shit.

so bad that my hair got tangled and i spent 10mins untangling it -_- no kidding, cos there were so many knots i wanted to just cut it off urggg.

we drove off to mornington peninsular (here right now!) and this place is a ghost town!! omg zombie apocalypse!! the town centre is SO DEAD. nothing to do = shopping in coles.

had to ask a guy working in coles what i could do / where i could go (it was 530pm) and then he looked at me and was like “o im sorry there’s nothing. it’s sunday, everything’s closed”. no shit sherlock… SO POOR THING. WHAT DO PEOPLE DO AFTER 5?!

well we bought dinner (salads!) and went home. wow such is life.

anyway tomorrow we’re heading out of this zombie place! taking a ferry and all, hopefully i manage some nice shots (i have 0 shots of mornington haha).

this was one of the best places i’ve visited this year! (apart from top gear ’11) haha. only because i got to feed animals!! love love love my mom was saying how i didn’t change.. like when i was young all i wanted to do was touch animals and feed them.. and i’ve pictures too..

tutankhamun and the golden age of the pharaohs

finally got to go to the egyptian exhibition yesterday (monday)! parents decided to go too, so i got all of us tickets..

walked to the museum, we probably walked really fast because i remember reaching the place in 10mins.. the last time it took longer i reckon..

a really cute part of the museum! i was like “some colourblind person probably thought he fixed the rubix cube” and my mom was like “shao jie ah?”

no photography allowed, we queued for some time, and i told my parents to not follow me and we split up and i took my own time to admire every single artifact, reading everything at least twice and all. whee~

it was nothing short of amazing, i really want to find out more about the egyptian stuff, learn how to read the spell book, ‘scriptures’, but i’m more fascinated by the gods, and anubis and the likes.

we were allowed to view melbourne museum for free so off we went..

i got really annoyed because the egyptian exhibition made me think a lot and remember all those details, so i was quite drained. :/ and then i was made to look at some horse, and the olden melbourne thingys.. acckkk…

but then there was the human body, dinosaurs, and animals section and i was so fascinated!

especially the human body one HAHAHA. there were photos of penises and vaginas and i was wondering how come those people were not afraid to pose for the photos.. and they looked really stoned too.. well maybe they were stoned haha.

watched a 5min video on how babies were made. there was definite groping, lotsa sex, and sperm and an egg. and then i saw boobs grow, tummy expanding, egg becoming a finger and a head. it was like being 16 all over again in reproduction class. and i saw the woman give birth holy fuck her vagina expanded LIKE CRAZY THERE WAS A FUCKING HEAD COMING OUT OF IT NOT EVEN FUNNY. i was cringing the whole time and the doctor pulled the head out and her vagina expanded even more (is that even possible?!!) and the shoulders and OMG THE BABY WAS BLUE. it was avatar-ish.. really sick..

but anyway it’s something i really have to think about. getting pregnant. urg.

the animal exhibit was so so so bloody amazing it was like night at the museum-ish.

there were tonnes of dinosaur exhibits and it reminded me of the magic school bus!

and then there was one final exhibit that caught my eye.. the blue whale that beached on the GOR..

so huge! it took 9yrs from the time they spotted the whale to the time the finished assembling the bones. mega fail jigsaw people, those aussies. :p nah, i’m pretty sure it was some major discovery thing and much research and all..

sent the parents off for lunch today at woolshed. they loved it! very happy. seafood makes everyone happy (well except those allergic to it). i need to go back and have a nice meal there again. like, asap. i love the food and the desserts and the place itself..

we went to dfo harbour town to shop and valleygirl was shitty. wait, shitty is an understatement.. i didn’t buy much from there, except 4 rings, and a new pair of boots. yea the boots i bought when i first came this yr? i wanted it to last me through winter but guess what. holes in the soles. )= stupid.. damn annoyed. i need to learn how to walk properly!

okay off to bed now. rock of ages tomorrow! hope it’s good…

penang trip (again, yes hehe)

so i went to penang after my taiwan trip (which i have yet to blog about but i’m sure you’ve seen the pictures on my facebook)

went there to visit my grand aunties. grand aunty wang hong and grand aunty cheng sim (who has passed on, on 28th april).

everytime i go there, i’m so afraid it’ll be my last time seeing those old folks. it get’s kinda depressing i guess but that’s life.

i got to drive up, not a joke. not many pictures because i didn’t do much except eat, suntan, sleep, cry my eyes out while watching wind struck (great show by the way, if you wanna see whether your tear ducts are working fine)

so i pretty much just slacked at home. i went to gurney plaza to do some shopping too. (= it was quite enjoyable, how i could walk there and back myself, without anyone to disturb my peace.
