day 2

wanted to wake up at 9am, so that i could pack. BUT. i couldn’t drag myself outta bed!!! ))= literally forced myself up at 12pm. only because i REALLY had to do some stuff to my room. and also because i was supposed to be ready at 1pm, or 2pm, whichever time joel woke up. -_-

anyway he picked me up at 330pm. lol. was gna drizzle so we headed to town for lunch. went to collect my watch, woah atas shop huh, only accept cash.. so i had to walk from wheelock, back to shaw to withdraw money. &%^$#@

anyway after that we had lunch at taka’s crystal jade la mian xlb.

another tiring day!!!! i’m guessing this will continue for the next few weeks. boo… ))=

woke up at an unearthly hour (10am) and went to clark quay to meet luke, mons and wan. brewerkz, specifically. they all came late. )= but nevermind i was browsing the menu and taking my time to read every.single.ingredient. haha!

then we went to ion to walk around, mons bought shoes from pedro. i love the shoes they have! for men that is. on the 1st and 2nd level of the shelf. 3rd onwards to the floor = horrid. their slippers are all ugly ugly ugly i don’t understand why people actually try them on.

luke and i had so many agreements on dressings. ahhh. (= i saw the mortal enemy. slippers with jeans. geez people. NO NO. neverrrr. NO. never goes with anything thanks. well duh if it’s females then different story if their slippers are nice, fine. but ground rule? NOOOO!.

they accompanied me to collect my watch at wheelock but great. shop closed.

walked around and the boys were being really sneaky and i realised they wanted to buy me something and thus….

the service was great i loved their staff, really friendly, able to joke and hold proper conversations. the ambience was great too, i guess it was partly due to the working attitude of the staff. and the culture they had.

we tried some of each, and all tasted like.. shit. lol. already biased because i don’t like alcohol… but really. medicinal taste only 1/6 was nice. the peach flavoured shot. and it smelt like my body shop soap.. so um..

well it probably tasted like medicine to suit the ‘theme’ of the place but still..

divided the rest of the alcohol because it was gross and we played games to determine who had to drink it.

their food wasn’t great either. nachos = the nacho chips from the bag (nachos potato chips with cheese which can be gotten from any 7-11). tempura fish with fries was even worse. the fish had NO taste. i have no idea what we were paying for, and hawker centre would have better fish and chips.

wine menu was pathetic. about a list of 30 wines, and only 3-4 were available. the rest had the sticker “not available”. and this really irks me because 1) get the wine OR 2) change the damn menu.

i literally laughed when i opened the menu because the stickers were everywhere! and when the rest saw what i was laughing at they laughed too, i mean it’s so so… weird. :/

immediately after we finished the alcohol, the lady swopped over, cleared all the drinks. -_- it was a ‘chasing us away’ sign. tsk. anyway we were more than happy to leave. it was really stuffy!

drinks variety: only about 6 different alcohols, most priced at $50
service: don’t get me started. the guy told us he was the walking menu, i asked what mocktails he had, and he didn’t know. asked for the snacks menu, he didn’t understand. -_-
ambience: wtf. bloody hot.

and i wouldn’t go there again if not for the novelty/hype.
