cass in melb!

sooo backdated, but looking at the photos make me smile (=
so i had school and band the first week they came, and my LTC/cell group stuff. pretty much left them to entertain themselves.

random pics that i like. :D
Photobucket
brunch before we headed off to the tattoo expo.

went to quite a few places like st kilda, vic market, dfo south wharf and harbour town, and to docklands too..

did it when i dyed my hair red/pink haha

Photobucket
HAHAHAHA STUPID PICTURE cos this was the fur thingy on cass’s coat, and then i took it off and draped it over my head.

Photobucket
made a special trip to a harley shop in brunswick..

Photobucket
super nice bikes.

and i thought everything in the store was at least $99. cos on the tags, it all had 99 on them and im like, for real?? 99 for a sticker?! and i didn’t wanna say anything about it being expensive and a waste of money, because i’ve wasted a lot of money too… or just in case you know, it’s what they really want? then very awkward for me to go ‘ehhh so ex’ right?? :/

hahaah turns out it was just a code.. the sticker was only $3. lol.
and the money box wasn’t $1260++ lol.
was in specs cos i was sick and didn’t wna get my eyes infected by my germy hands

idk where my other pics went, but yea probably haven’t uploaded. oops. :/ anyway that was the gist of the trip.

brunswick street was so awesome! happy i got to explore one place with them, somewhere i haven’t really been to!

anyway, had a mega long week. gna zzz now!

momsy.

momsy is with me right now and i was just telling marv about what she said so i thought it’s be an awful lot of fun if i typed it here.

(referring to my bra paddings)
momsy: (putting it on the clothing rack to dry) haha. looks like bbq like that. haha..

and just now i was slightly freaking out because she only brought 5 tops with her. :/ FIVE? FOR 1.5 MONTHS? the other time i went to china for that amount of time, i wanted to bring 20 tops/dresses and g told me i shouldnt and i brought at least 10!

me: are you being sneaky. bringing so little so you can shop here.
her: haha.. don’t say like that!
me: but is it true?
her: hmm.. do you think so?
me: yea cos dad’s coming….

or the time when she just started using handphones.. i’d randomly put the phone to my ear and go ‘hello hello.. wait ah’ and then pass the phone to her. and she’ll just go ‘hello? hello? eh the person hung up’ HAHAHAH and no light/sound coming from the phone what so ever. yea i’m damn horrid lol..

anw here’s a pic.
momsy and i at a korean bbq restaurant last night with chik and ern.

and yes, my bra is pink. it’s not the lighting…

skyline

So I was really lucky to have caught the sunset from my rooftop. One of the best sunset’s i’ve seen in a long while. Was always contented with the view from my balcony but this takes the cake. (=

I had a 360 view, and the lightings were all different!
light mellow blue hues..

to striking golden rays.

ahh, the best of both worlds. I kinda like that there’s a helicopter in the picture, it’s as if one lucky couple is viewing sunset from above (=

dark blacks with the contrasting orangey sky. lovely.

I need to spend more time on the rooftop, but of course, I’ve to wait for the weather to ease up a lil. just when we thought winter had gone for food, it’s back hitting lows of 9 degrees and highs of only 12-14. come on melb you can do better than this! give us the 20-ish!

thought worth considering.

So I’ve never thought about staying in Aus.
Wait, I’ve never even thought I’d even come study here!

Well, that is, till I spoke with 2 friends.
The first is a friend who was born in Singapore, and later migrated to Aus when she was 13. She told me that when I fully settle down, mingle w the locals I’d love it here I wouldn’t wanna go back. And she was intending to finish her degree, move to another state to work. (mind you this isn’t like, moving from the east to north of singapore.)

The other is a German girl, who came to study in Aus. It wasn’t an immediate decision, but she was going to work here for a few years before heading back to Germany. That is, if she decided that Australia wasn’t the place for her. She’s pretty much settled down, and she’s liking it here.

And that got me thinking about my options..
After I’m done with this degree, am I going to stay here to work? Or am I heading back to Singapore, which was the original plan. To like, study, then head back, because it’s where I’m “supposed” to me.

The options are endless, I could pack off and head to another country too. Hmm.

Well, before working, would I be doing my honours? They don’t offer honours for media and communication, so I’m gonna have to do an honours in linguistics. Even before I can do it, I’ve to make sure my grades are good enough, for me to get selected.

But this would incur more costs, and a longer duration here. Should I do it back home in sg, or should i stay here in aus.

decisions, decisions.
This post is word heavy, not gonna apologise because it’s meant to be like that.

Then again, till I’m done with my under grads, there’s only one thing I should be worrying about. My current studies.

I can’t promise anything of the future, so I’m leaving it all to God because I know He’d show me the right path and all. So I’ll just keep praying about it and when I reach “the end”, I’ll follow what He wants me to do.

Time to make notes, and catch up! (=

ps: it’s thought worth considering and not thoughtS simply because it’s a choice of staying in aus aft i’m done w studies or heading back.

exploring the city

today was rather exciting for me.
joyce and i were gonna walk around, look at the telcos, go to school, and go to the shopping centre.
