up on my wall.

so i finally got my lady bug photo frame up.
i bought it in week 2, it’s already week 10. oops? :/
so this afternoon after class i headed down to the printer’s to get it all printed out hehe.

there was a bit of a problem, the sizes weren’t how they should have been, but i managed to cut some parts away, and there wasn’t 3R, so i made everything into 4R.

note: im missing a picture of g an i in my frame. )= this means.. time for a new 20-piece photo frame!

it was so tough trying to fit the photos together because the photo papers were curved. and i couldn’t stick it to the frame so they wobbled.

my ladybug framesets. yea i’ve been having ladybugs as friends for the past 8 weeks.

okay so my room is still REALLY plain. i’ll go fine more posters, and frames. PFFT.

HI!

today was… interesting.

1)woke up and saw a note being pushed under my door. stoned because if i moved j would freak out.

2) wanted to buy more posters for my cell-like room but i couldn’t find any that didn’t scream “retard” or “lesbian” or “over-rated” or “fangirl”. resisted buying twilight posters. hah.

3) had wayyyy too many pizzas for bianca, lye ee, keith, andy, j and i.

4) the house tripped. internet went down.

5) m was late so i decided to go off to cell group on my own. really hate it when people are late. disgusting habit. :/

6) cell was interesting we had a prayer walk it felt funny praying for the art’s building so i prayed for the students instead.

7) supper was disgusting. -pukes- i never liked, and will probably never like bread-crumbed stuff.

8) went to felix’s place to.. chat. used his bathroom -awkward silence- i guess it’s just me hmm.

9) no hot water to bathe. i feel really dirty and miserable now.

no pictures, whoops! maybe another time when i’m less lazy. will probably head out on sunday to get new boots. mine are spoiling )= it’s cos i’ve been kicking the pavements and all…

exploring the city

today was rather exciting for me.
joyce and i were gonna walk around, look at the telcos, go to school, and go to the shopping centre.

had breakfast, pears and musli with milk.

the pears here are REALLY soft and sweet. yum!

felt rumbling in my tummy. thought it was nothing so we headed to school!

ps: school for me here, is like how tanglin was for me in singapore. so yes, sajc still stands as my furthest school.

after school we headed to the bank. yeseveryone we got our address wrong. it’s 668, not 688. :/ please send me love packages i survive on nothing but love. hahaha wtf kidding nearly died typing this out

then i had to go home because apparently i haven’t drank milk in ages, and the milk here wants to be enemies with my tummy. )= after that, we headed out to the city!

walked there, about 10 mins away.. not too bad!

i quite love their buildings, though it’s kinda cluttered and all.

this really cool indoor rock climbing centre. the apartment, verve, is just above it! majorly cool. + they have a pool, sauna and tennis court. this is in the city btw, 3 tram stops from my place.

it’s really walkable here as it’s filled with shops and people, feels like i’m in orchard road, just that even on a weekday the place is packed. quite scary!

rent a bike! wonder if it costs a lot to just steal it lol

the city was really packed. eew. but the people smelt fine. so i guess i’m ok. :p

saw horse carriages. HOW COOL IS THAT.

felt hungry after walking so we headed off to this viet/thai place..

the place was packed w asians so we knew food would be great! haah cant trust aussies to love chichi food, it’s probably exortic to them, so everything would be nice.

they gave us a hot tumblr of chichi tea! it was lovely both j and i felt the tea was really decent, like those you get in chinese restaurants!

j’s fried rice! yummy! like tom yam fried rice.

i ordered pad thai beef. about $10aud. sucha huge plate!!
needless to say i packed the rest to go. should probably bring my own container so i won’t waste plastic.

on the ground floor there was this ice skating ring. kinda cute, we have that in sg but this is probably bigger.

bought a printer for $47!! and a fridge..

then i went to meet melvin, who brought me to eat jap/korean food. big mama. i was kinda full so i only ordered tofu.

the price is about the same, but it’s so much livelier here, loud and all. i dont know if it’s necessarily better but it’s a good change. (=
